Radiation detection and monitoring for a safer society
Scienta Envinet is a world-leading provider of integrated systems for radiation detection, monitoring, and nuclear safety. The company was formed by combining Scienta Sensor Systems, a global leader in xenon detection for nuclear weapons test-ban verification, and Envinet GmbH, with a leading position in ring detection systems for nuclear power safety monitoring. Together, they offer one of the most comprehensive portfolios in the sector.
Scienta Envinet develops and integrates advanced sensors and central monitoring software. Its solutions are widely used across three core application areas: Nuclear Test-Ban Verification, Nuclear Surveillance, and Environmental Radiation Monitoring. Detection systems are installed globally and continuously monitor radiation levels in more than twenty countries, serving intergovernmental organisations (including IAEA and CTBTO), regulatory bodies, departments of defence, and research agencies.
The company’s product portfolio spans probes (SARA, TUNA, MIRA), xenon detection systems (SAUNA, SAUNA III), gamma detection stations, and network monitoring software – from point solutions to fully integrated turnkey platforms. Its technology is deployed in homeland defence, environmental protection, and nuclear reactor safety.
